Packages are a tool for you to tailor the pricing of your listing for different customers, their needs, and their budgets.
A package contains a name, a price, and a description of what is included in that price. It is designed to be flexible to accommodate the unique needs of your listing.
Let’s look at three hypothetical listings and how a tasker might create packages for these:
-
Jane and her wedding photography listing
Jane loves to photograph weddings and created a listing to be a photographer at your wedding ceremony. Her packages for her listing were:- 1-hour shoot - $150
- 2-hour shoot - $250
- 4-hour shoot - $400
- Full-day shoot - $650
-
Alex and his car wash listing
Alex set up a listing to come to your place and give your car a spick and span exterior wash and interior clean. His packages were:
- Hatchback (small size car) - $50
- Sedan (medium size car) - $75
- 4-wheel drive (large-size car) - $110
-
Mary and her cookie-baking listing
Mary created a listing to bake delicious choc-chip cookies and deliver them to your door. Her packages for her listing were:- 6 cookies - $15
- 12 cookies - $25
- 24 cookies - $40
- Giant cookie cake - $50
How many packages can I have in a listing?
You can create up to 5 price packages in a listing. You do not have to use all of them, but your listing must have at least 1 package to be able to publish it.
Put yourself in the shoes of your potential customers to create packages that customers love!
Here are some creative ways Taskers have used packages for their listings.
