Why do I need to add a payment method to assign a task?

At the stage of accepting an offer, you’ll need to add funds for payment. If your details aren’t already saved within Airtasker, you will need to add either a credit or debit VISA, Mastercard or AMEX. 

Note:

For the security of the Airtasker community, Airtasker does not support cash payments. Payments need to go through Airtasker Pay which only accepts credit/debit cards Visa, MasterCard or AMEX. 

When an offer is accepted, the funds for the task are securely held via Airtasker Pay until the task is completed.
