How do I know if someone is licensed?

At Airtasker, trust and safety are our top priorities, especially when it comes to tasks that require licensed tradespeople. A this time, we are not offering licensing badges to verify Tasker's qualifications. However, please check your Tasker's profile for more information on their experience. 

Please keep in mind:

• The best way to know if someone is licensed is to see the license itself. We recommend doing this before the task has started, by asking the Tasker for a photo of it after you've assigned them.
• Most industries also have databases where you can search and check someone's license status.

• Not sure whether your task needs a licensed tradesperson? Check with the industry's regulatory body in your local country or state. 

• To ensure that a Tasker is licensed, we recommend requesting a photo of their license before the task has started or checking their license status on industry databases.
