How do I cancel a task?

In uncommon situations, issues can arise that may make you want to discontinue the task. If you do find yourself wishing to cancel a task, we strongly encourage you to see if there's another way to get the task done. Depending on the situation, you can change the due date, change the task price, or communicate with the Tasker via private messaging. 

Before requesting a cancellation, also consider how it can affect your reputation and profile on Airtasker.

Once you have considered the above and are ready to cancel the task, you can lodge a request through the below steps:

1. Go to My Tasks
2. Select the task
3. Select More Options
4. Select Cancel Task
