If a Tasker wants to cancel your task, don't worry, we've got you covered!
You'll receive a cancellation request, and you'll have 48 hours to decide whether to accept or decline it. It's important to note that if you don't respond within 48 hours, the task will be automatically cancelled, and we'll issue you a refund in the form of Airtasker credits.
When a Tasker requests a cancellation, they are required to provide a reason and leave a comment. If you accept the cancellation request, you'll be notified of the reason and asked to agree or disagree with it. If you don't agree with the reason but still want the task to be cancelled, we have an informative article available here that provides guidance on handling these situations.
If you're okay with the cancellation, simply select the "Accept" option.
If the task has already started and you want to proceed, you can choose to "Decline". If you decline, it's a good idea to have a conversation with the Tasker through private messaging to address any concerns you may have.
In case you have any disagreements or need further assistance regarding the cancellation, our support team is here to help! You can easily reach out to them by clicking here, and they'll guide you through the process.
