Whether you’re a customer posting a task or a Tasker making an offer, it helps to be able to trust the people you’re dealing with. That’s why we’ve created the ID Badge which verifies your identity and confirms that your details on Airtasker match your ID document.
The ID Badge is free and can be obtained by both Taskers and Customers. To apply, you will need a valid passport or driver's licence.
When you click on the link above you will be taken to our 3rd party verification provider, Sterling Risq, who will verify your identity.
If your application is successful, our customer support team will inform you by email and will add the ID Badge to your Airtasker profile within 5-7 working days.
Important: Make sure that the details on your Airtasker profile (first name, last name and D.O.B.) match your ID document before you apply otherwise you will not be eligible for the badge (check and update your Airtasker profile here).
Note: Once your application is successful and the ID Badge is added to your profile, you will no longer be able to change your name and date of birth.
