It's important to have a detailed profile on Airtasker as it helps build community trust and transparency. As a Customer, more community offers mean more options for you. As a Tasker, a detailed profile will increase the chances of getting assigned to a task.
Update these four key parts of your profile to get things going:
- Profile and header photos. Not only do pictures help jazz up your profile, they also boost potential Tasker’s confidence in you as a Customer. It’s a great way to establish trust, giving Taskers more reasons to choose to work with you. For more information, see here.
- Skills and portfolio. If you decide to become a Tasker, this includes a list of your skills and any examples of your previous work. You can upload up to 30 images to our portfolio section in the JPG, PNG, PDF, and TXT file types, each no larger than 5MB. For your own security and privacy, please make sure you don’t upload any personal details in your attachments.
- Badges. This feature is optional and serves as proof that you have passed or successfully completed certain verifications. You may be eligible for different badges depending on the licences you hold. Read more here.
- Bio. This free-form text area gives you the opportunity to pull together all the other parts of your profile to express who you are. It's the perfect space to showcase what sets you apart and highlight why you'd be a dream to work with.
Important note: Always be mindful of your obligations under the Community Guidelines. We don't support the sharing of private details including full names, business names, contact details or business names, so make sure you steer clear of these. Airtasker reserves the right to moderate any profile where unsupported information has been shared.
