Badges provide valuable information to customers when choosing the right Tasker for their tasks. When certain criteria are met, a badge is displayed on a member's profile.
There are four types of badges:
It's important to keep in mind that badges are awarded based on a point-in-time check. This means that the results reflect the relevant records available on the date of verification. Customers can hover over your credential badges to view the verification date though some basic badges may not display a specific date.
As a Tasker, we encourage you to always be ready in case the customer requires verification before proceeding with the task.

ID Badges:
ID badges are a way for us to confirm that members are who they claim to be. Those who hold one or more of these badges have gone through a verification process with us, with different badges indicating different levels of verification.

This badge is only added to a member's profile if they have a clean police history check, meaning they don't have any Disclosable Court Outcomes. This information is provided to Airtasker by a verification provider, specifically NCC (National Crime Check), who conducts the check and verifies it through a trusted 3rd party. Working with Children Check |
