Check your internet connection
Before anything else, ensure that you have a reliable internet connection. A weak or unstable connection might prevent you from accessing certain features on the Airtasker platform. Try refreshing your web browser or restarting the app to see if the issue persists.
Update the Airtasker App or clear browser cache and cookies
If you are using the Airtasker mobile application or accessing the Airtasker website through a browser, consider updating the app and browser to the latest version or clearing the browser cache. Outdated versions or accumulated cache data can sometimes cause issues with the platform’s functionality.
Try posting the task from a different device or a different browser
If the issue persists, try posting a task from a different device or see if you can access the Airtasker website using a different browser, preferably a more recent one. This step can help identify whether the problem is an issue with browser compatibility, device-specific or if it is related to your account or the Airtasker platform itself.
Note: If you currently use Internet Explorer 8, we recommend switching to a different, more updated browser, as this version is unsupported.
Review Airtasker’s posting guidelines
Take a moment to review Airtasker’s Task Posting Guidelines and ensure that the task you are attempting to post complies with Airtasker’s Community Guidelines. Airtasker has specific criteria to maintain a safe and reliable platform for all users. Tasks that breach the Community Guidelines may result in account limitation/restriction or indefinite deactivation. Posting a task for the first time? Check this article
Note: If your account is limited or restricted, you will no longer be able to post a task. Airtasker may take different actions on a case-by-case basis, however, please keep in mind that Airtasker reserves the right to limit or deactivate any account at its absolute discretion. Any limitations placed on your account do not waive our other rights under our Terms & Conditions. If your account has been restricted, click here
