How do I release payment to the Tasker?

When you accept a Tasker’s offer and assign them to your task, the payment is taken from your selected payment method and securely held within Airtasker Pay until the task is complete.

Once the task is complete, the Tasker will request payment to you via the Airtasker App. You will then be prompted to release payment.

If the task has been completed to your satisfaction, you can release the payment by following these steps:
1. Login to Airtasker
2. Click/tap ‘My tasks’
3. Select the relevant task
4. Click/tap the ‘Release payment’ button

You can manage your alerts in your profile to include SMS notifications that the Tasker has requested payment. This helps you to keep on top of task payments and allows you to release payments with ease.
