Badges play a crucial role in fostering trust within the Airtasker community. All members are encouraged to have a badge on their profiles.
Badges provide valuable information to a Customer when choosing the right Tasker for their tasks. When certain criteria are met, a badge is displayed on a member's profile.
It's important to keep in mind that badges are awarded based on a point-in-time check. This means that the results reflect the relevant records available on the date of verification. Customers can hover over your credential badges to view the verification date though some basic badges may not display a specific date.
As a Tasker, we encourage you to always be ready in case the customer requires verification before proceeding with the task.

ID badges are a way for us to confirm that members are who they claim to be. Those who hold one or more of these badges have gone through a verification process with us, with different badges indicating different levels of verification.

This badge indicates that the member has successfully added a payment method to their account. This means they're ready to make payments and engage in transactions within the Airtasker platform. We want to clarify that adding a payment method simply indicates that the member has completed the necessary steps to link a payment option to their account. It doesn't automatically mean that their payment credentials have been verified. Verification is a separate process that ensures the security and authenticity of payment information.
