What are Listing Guidelines?

It’s important that Taskers only create listings that align with our values and standards of behaviour, as well as local laws and regulations.

Please follow these guidelines when creating your listings. 

1. Listings must be legal
Listings cannot be related to illegal activities that could lead to the prosecution of a crime, weapons, drugs (including prescribed medicines, or drug paraphernalia).

2) No escort or adult services
Listings must not offer escort or adult services including adult massage.

3) No alcohol-related listings
Airtasker strictly forbids postings involving the supply or sale of alcohol. This covers trading or bartering, seeking to sell or offering to sell, and providing goods for purchase.

4) No unacceptable behaviour
Be considerate! Listings that encourage any of the following undesirable behaviors are not tolerated by us:

• Hatred or violence
• Discrimination
• Harassment
• lllegal behaviours
• Trolling
• Use of profanity
  

5) Make sure you hold the relevant license

Some activities are governed by federal, state, and local authorities and call for credentials and licenses. Taskers should be aware of any certification and licensing requirements related to the services they provide. Taskers must possess the necessary license before providing services that need one.

6) Don’t share contact information

Contact details can only be shared via private messages once a listing has been booked. Please refrain from including any kind of contact information on your listing, either in the text or the photographs. Included in this are information like your entire name, business name, home or business address, email, phone number, and links to external websites.

7) Pricing and payments

Please make sure your pricing is clear. The whole and final price the buyer will pay should be represented by the packages. Hourly, unit-based (for instance, "per meter squared"), and quote-based (for example, "$5 for a quote") pricing are not accepted.

8) Unsupported practices

The following actions within the Airtasker community are not supported by us since they put the development of a fair, open, and reliable environment in danger:

• Reviews on Airtasker that are fake
• Lead generation

9) Academic tasks

Academic assessment-related tasks are specifically forbidden. This includes but is not limited to, finishing someone else's homework, test, or course. Additionally, it is not encouraged to offer academic support in the form of planning, structuring, referencing, or providing criticism on another person's academic work.

10) Multiple listings should offer different services

Taskers are not permitted to create several listings in a category that offer the same services and deals. This will guarantee a fair working environment for all Taskers.
